Kamala Harris Wins Nickelodeon's Kids Pick the President "Kids' Vote" Poll

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., October 29, 2024 (ENTERTAINMENT INTERVIEWS) – Nickelodeon has announced that Kamala Harris has been selected as the winner of its Kids Pick the President "Kids' Vote" poll for 2024. Harris received 52% of the votes, followed closely by Donald Trump with 48%. The poll, which ran from October 3-23, saw participation from over 32,000 children. It is an informal, non-scientific poll conducted for entertainment purposes.

The results of the "Kids' Vote" were revealed during a half-hour special on October 28th, 2024 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), hosted by Nate Burleson and his daughter, Mia Burleson. The show will aired across Nickelodeon, Paramount+, Nickelodeon YouTube, Nick.com, and Pluto TV channels. The special is now available on demand as of today.

The Kids Pick the President special features perspectives from children on key issues of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, including topics such as the economy, artificial intelligence, and healthcare.

The Kids Pick the President initiative is part of Nickelodeon's larger global initiative, Our World, which focuses on providing children with the tools to engage in their communities.

Nickelodeon has partnered with the National Association of Media Literacy Educators (NAMLE) to provide resources for families around media literacy, which are available at kidspickthepresident.com.
