Kamala Harris Wins Nickelodeon's Kids Pick the President "Kids' Vote" Poll

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., October 29, 2024 (ENTERTAINMENT INTERVIEWS) – Nickelodeon has announced that Kamala Harris has been selected as the winner of its Kids Pick the President "Kids' Vote" poll for 2024. Harris received 52% of the votes, followed closely by Donald Trump with 48%. The poll, which ran from October 3-23, saw participation from over 32,000 children. It is an informal, non-scientific poll conducted for entertainment purposes.
The results of the "Kids' Vote" were revealed during a half-hour special on October 28th, 2024 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), hosted by Nate Burleson and his daughter, Mia Burleson. The show will aired across Nickelodeon, Paramount+, Nickelodeon YouTube, Nick.com, and Pluto TV channels. The special is now available on demand as of today.
The Kids Pick the President special features perspectives from children on key issues of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, including topics such as the economy, artificial intelligence, and healthcare.
The Kids Pick the President initiative is part of Nickelodeon's larger global initiative, Our World, which focuses on providing children with the tools to engage in their communities.
Nickelodeon has partnered with the National Association of Media Literacy Educators (NAMLE) to provide resources for families around media literacy, which are available at kidspickthepresident.com.

Nickelodeon Announces 2024 Kids' Choice Awards Nominees
HOLLYWOOD, June 4, 2024, (EntertainmentInterviews.com) - Nickelodeon has announced the nominees for the 2024 Kids' Choice Awards, featuring over 50 first-time nominees from various entertainment sectors, including film, television, music, and sports. The event will be hosted by SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke) and will air live from Bikini Bottom on Saturday, July 13, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
First-time nominees this year include Halle Bailey, Austin Butler, Sabrina Carpenter, Kai Cenat, Timothée Chalamet, Luke Combs, Ariana DeBose, Ayo Edebiri, Ryan Gosling, Reneé Rapp, Margot Robbie, and Paul Rudd. Leading the nominations is Taylor Swift with six nods, followed by Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and Justin Timberlake, each with four nominations.
The show promises enhanced graphics, high-tech motion capture, augmented reality, celebrity collaborations, and stunts. It will celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants' special birthday and feature Nickelodeon's signature orange blimp awards and epic slimings. The event will be simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, TVLand, CMT, and MTV2.
Starting today, fans in the U.S. can cast their votes across 33 categories on the official Kids' Choice Awards website, KidsChoiceAwards.com. Voting is also open internationally, including additional regional categories.
