Plot Synopsis

The film begins with the life of a successful real estate agent named Marvin Gable. Marvin has recently been awarded a very high honor by a man named Cliff Cussick, who is Marvin’s boss, friend, and mentor. We also meet a woman named Ashley, Marvin’s assistant, who is cynical, depressed, and always threatening to quit, even though Marvin constantly talks her up.

There is more to Marvin than meets the eye, however. Marvin is a former assassin for what’s called ‘The Company’, which is headed by his brother, Alvin Gable, also known as Knuckles. Marvin’s last mission was to eliminate a woman named Rose, a lawyer who stole from The Company. But, Marvin fell in love with her, telling her to run instead. After the incident, Marvin chose to leave his old life behind.

But all is not lost. Around Valentine's Day, Marvin seemingly gets a letter from Rose. Later, at the office, he is confronted by an assassin named Raven, who’s obsessed with poetry. Raven is looking for Roose’s whereabouts, as he’s been hired to track Rose down. Marvin knocks Raven out and leaves him there, quickly making his way back to his house to collect some things before departing.

At Marvin’s home, he is confronted by King and Otis, two more agents who are after Rose. Marvin manages to take the upper-hand, but in doing so is captured by Rose herself, who takes him back to a strip club where she’s been hiding out.

While Rose has Marvin, Ashley is falling head over heels in love with Raven, who happens to admire her back. Later, Cliff Cussikk goes to Marvin’s home to check on his whereabouts, but he finds Knuckles, Marvin’s brother. Knuckles informs Cliff of Marvin’s past life. Cliff attempts to walk away admiring Marvin for his willingness to change, but Knuckles murders Cliff when he declares that they are ‘brothers’.

Now reunited at one of Marvin’s recently closed houses, Rose informs Marvin that as she's been hiding out, she’s been collecting a lot of information regarding Knuckles and his fondness for money laundering, as well as revealing that he's been cheating several of his partners. Rose has also captured Kippy Betts, his accountant.

Rose also has an informant in Renny Merlow, Knuckle’s right hand man, who had planned to double cross her because he’s afraid of Knuckles. Rose’s plan is to use the information she gleaned from Kippy Betts to finally take down Knuckles, and she hopes that Marvin will help her do so.

Suddenly, Rose and Marvin are interrupted by the couple purchasing the house, which forces Marvin to finalize their closing papers. He later phones Ashley to bring him the papers, but Marvin does not know Ashley and Raven have met. Later, Kippyy makes his escape, only to contact Renny. Renny contacts King and Otis and the trio head to the house.

Rose leaves to confront Knuckles while Ashley arrives with Raven, with King and Otis arriving later. A fight breaks out between the group, which leads to the death of Marvin’s bitter real estate rival named Jeff Zaks. Together, Marvin and Raven team up to kill Otis and King, with Ashley insisting that the two cease their personal beef as she is in love with Raven.

Feeling inspired by their love, Marvin leaves to support Rose, who’s made it to Knuckle’s hideout. Marvin fights his way through all of Knuckle’s minions, killing Merrlow in the process. Finally, Knuckles and Marvin, brother on brother, take each other on, with Marvin winning.

Defeated, Rose informs Knuckles that she has informed the Russian gangsters he’d cheated and that they are going to come and take him away. Rose and Marvin embrace, declaring their love for one another while Marrvin has finally come to accept his dual identity.
