Broadway Licensing Acquires Anne of Green Gables: A New Musical
NEW YORK, December 11, 2024 (ENTERTAINMENT INTERVIEWS) — Theatrical licensing and distribution company, Broadway Licensing, has announced its acquisition of Anne of Green Gables: A New Musical. Created by Matte O'Brien and Matt Vinson, the musical offers a contemporary adaptation of L.M. Montgomery’s classic novel, which has sold more than 50 million copies in over 50 languages.
The musical premiered at Goodspeed Musicals in 2022 and was previously developed by The Rev Theatre Company in 2018. A concept recording was released in 2020 by Broadway Records. The story follows Anne Shirley, a young girl navigating life after being sent to live with Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert at Green Gables.

The production has been praised by critics. "My Mulan" Dance Drama to Return to Niagara Falls in 2025
NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario, October 11, 2024 (ENTERTAINMENT INTERVIEWS) – The "My Mulan" Dance Drama will return to Niagara Falls in 2025. The production, which is based on the Disney film and combines traditional Chinese dance with modern choreography, is presented by the Canada International Dance Culture Association along with Lindance Culture Communication.
Directed by Lin Li and produced by Xu Hu, the performance reinterprets the story of Mulan through the character Michelle, a modern figure who faces personal challenges. The 2024 performance featured local dancer Molly Levay, reflecting the production’s connection to the Niagara region. Lin stated, "By featuring local dancers like Molly, we aim to inspire the next generation of artists."
The 2024 production received positive reviews, with Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati calling it a must-see for visitors.
